Juvelook(PDLLA)
Juvelook is composed of PDLLA (poly-D,L lactic acid) and comes in two types. Juvelook Skin is for general skin quality improvement and Juvelook Volume is for volume creation, deep wrinkles, and scar improvement. When Juvelook is injected into the skin or subcutaneous fat, fibroblasts are stimulated and collagen production can be increased.

Treatment method

4Progress, Possible side effects
Progress after the procedure and cautions
▪ Embossing phenomenon: May last for about 3 days at the injected area.
▪ Red injection marks: If they occur, they may last for 3 to 7 days.
▪ Swelling: Usually subsides within 3 days, but in some cases may last up to 7 days.
▪ Bruises
▪ In general, if you have received the Juvelook ‘Volume’ procedure, to minimize the side effects of nodules, massage the procedure area strongly for 3 minutes, 3 times a day for 3 days (every day) after the procedure.
▪ After using injector machines, apply only moisturizer as basic skin care products for 7 days.
▪ Take the prescribed medication.
▪ The effects can usually be felt after 1 month after the procedure. However, you may not feel the effects well with just one procedure.
▪ Usually, your skin feels better immediately after the procedure, but after about 7 days, it seems to return to its pre-procedure state, but you will feel improved again after about 30 days.
▪ Swelling, needle marks, and embossing do not usually occur on the face, but they can occur on the neck and décolleté for 3 to 7 days.
▪ Avoid strenuous exercise, exposure to extremely cold or hot environments (such as saunas) for 24 hours after the procedure. Swelling and redness in the treated area may worsen.
▪ If bruising, mild pain, swelling, heating sensation, fever, or itchiness occur after the procedure, apply an ice pack.

▪ Allergies, urticaria (severe symptoms in rare cases)
▪ Local infection
▪ Delayed immune-mediated side effects (granulomas, etc.)
- Granulomas (palpable lumps) usually occur 6~12 months after the treatment
- Can occur 3~100 months after the treatment
- Swelling, pain, heating sensation, lumps, etc. on the face may suddenly occur, or nodules may occur without other symptoms
- Inflammatory granulomas Incidence: 0.01~0.1%
- It may disappear on its own, or it may require treatment
- It is known to occur in areas with a lot of movement, but it can occur in any area
- It is related to drug concentration
